Following our decision in March 2020 to postpone the Hendy Eastleigh 10k in the light of COVID-19 pandemic we have been monitoring latest government guidance ahead of our planned re-scheduled date of Sunday 20 September 2020.
We are still very concerned about runners being able to safely participate, in terms of social distancing for such a big event, as well as all the volunteers, spectators and other organisations that help make this such a popular race.
We have therefore decided to POSTPONE the event until Sunday 21 March 2021.
The team behind the Hendy Eastleigh 10k are all passionate about the event and our community and we understand how disappointing and frustrating this is for our participants, spectators, sponsors and partners.
Not hosting this years Hendy Eastleigh 10k is not a decision that we have taken lightly but we believe, that given the current situation, it is the right decision for the safety of everyone and we do not want the current situation to affect your enjoyment of the event. The event in March 2021 will be the postponed 2020 event and as such you will still receive your 2020 tshirts and medals on the day.
What happens now?
All of our 2020 participants will now automatically be transferred to the new date for the staging of the postponed Hendy Eastleigh 10k 2020 on Sunday 21 March 2021.
Your current race pack and number still applies -SO PLEASE KEEP YOUR NUMBER SAFE!!
Transfers – you will still be able to transfer your place from your Full on Sport account you will require the name, date of birth, email, and any club or medical condition of your replacement. NB You will need to pass your number to your replacement.
Refunds – If you can’t run and would like a refund you MUST return your number to the Running Mania address on your race pack envelope so it can be re-issued to a new runner. The address if you haven’t kept the envelope is: Running Mania Ltd, 118 Billington Gardens, Hedge End,Southampton SO30 2RT. When we receive your number we can issue your refund less a small administation fee.
